Today’s ride is to a place called “Must Be Heaven” up in Magnolia. It’s sandwich shop, but they also feature pie, cheesecake, cookies, and various ice cream concoctions. You can see their menu at mustbeheaven.com/menu

We’ll meet at 8 AM at the Pit Stop on the corner of 59 and Williams Way Road. Their address is 22323 Southwest Freeway in Richmond. KSU is at 8:30 

We’ll head down 59 to Beasley and from there, it’s mostly back roads to Magnolia. We’ll have a hydration, fuel, and bathroom break about 60 miles (1 ½ hours) into the ride. If things go according to plan, we’ll arrive at the restaurant about 11:15 to get our fill of sandwiches, pie, ice cream, or whatever.

From there, we’ll ride down Hwy 36 to I-10 and head to Katy, where the ride will officially end around 1:30. The ride is about 160 miles plus whatever it takes to get home from Katy.

If you want to go on the ride, please register. That gives the Road Captains some idea of how many people will be there.

And it’s summer, so it’ll probably be Houston Hot. That means getting and staying hydrated is VERY IMPORTANT. Bring water, Gatorade, or whatever, and STAY HYDRATED!

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Republic Chapter #1115 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
