Today’s ride is to the Burnt Biscuit ion Brazoria, It’s a small hometown café that offers a wide variety of country cooking for breakfast and lunch.

 

We’ll meet at the Buc-ee’s on Crabb River Road across from Greatwood.

 

Meeting time is 8:00 with KSU at 8:30. We’ll head toward Rosharon then go down Cow Creek Road. We’ll have a gas/rest stop at the gas station @ Cow Creek and Hwy. 35about 58 miles into the ride. And then, instead of going west on Hwy. 35, we’ll head EAST to Bailey’s Prairie and then go down to Brazoria to Burnt Biscuit.

 

If we’re early, we’ll have breakfast. If we arrive after 10:30, it’s lunch. You can’t miss either way!

 

After breakfast (or lunch), we’ll head up Hwy. 36 to West Columbia and then NW to Pledger and then Boling, and then start making our way home. We’ll head up Hwy. 36 from Needville and the ride will end at Hwy. 36 & 59 in Rosenberg.

 

The total is 130 miles.

 

It should be a nice easy ride (except maybe at the first part of Cow Creek, where there’s a series of 90 degree curves). So wake up a little early and let’s go riding!!

Republic Chapter #1115 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Republic Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
