The Road Captains have you covered! We're going to ride up to Palatine to take a ride on the Texas State Railroad. There's a lot more info on the website (https://texasstaterailroad.net), but the TL;DR version is that it's a ride through the Piney Woods to Rusk, a special luncheon, a layover in Rusk, and a ride back to Palastine.

The details aren't carved in stone yet, but we're planning on leaving on Friday Oct. 16th, early in the afternoon and ride an easy 3 to 4 hours to Palastine.

We'll spend a couple of nights in a local hotel, ride the train on Saturday, doing local riding and other stuff stuff Saturday and Sunday morning and riding back Sunday on the afternoon on the 18th.

The train theme on Saturday is the "Fall Harvest Lunch Train". More details on that below.*
