Annual Ride to Blessing Hotel w/ Bill H.

We are going on our Annual Thanksgiving Ride to the Hotel Blessing. The food is great and if you haven't been there before, this is one ride you should make. When you show up, you grab a clean plate and walk through the serving line, taking as much or little as you like,  every Sunday they have Turkey and dressing so it is perfect for a pre-Thanksgiving meal with the group. The restaurant has been managed by Helen Feldhousen since the late 60's. Miss Helen, as she is known, keeps the restaurant open every day of the year, except Christmas. Make sure you say hi to her when you go through the line.

It is a buffet style lunch starting at 11am and goes until 2pm or until the food runs out. The line can be long so that is the reason for an early start. The price is between $15- $20. This is a cash only event they do NOT accept credit cards. Your significant other is welcome to join us as well.

Since it is Sunday and RHD is closed we will meet at PitStop Express #31 (22323 Southwest Fwy, Richmond) at 8:30 for 9:00 KSU. It’s a 2-hour ride to Hotel Blessing so we will take a short stop at West Columbia. We should arrive about 11:20 to give them some time to get the buffet stacked.

Closed Event: Chapter activities are conducted primarily for the benefit of H.O.G. Chapter members. Closed Events are those events open to Chapter members and one guest per member.  All guests must sign an event release. Be aware, all rides and events are subject to change or cancellation due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control.

Impairment Policy: The consumption and use of alcohol is a serious personal responsibility involving the safety of family, riding friends and the individual HOG member. Alcohol consumption before or during a motorcycling activity is not safe, responsible behavior. Republic Chapter #1115 does not allow the use of alcohol or drugs before or during a riding event* and does not furnish alcohol at Chapter rides. Riders whose skills are observed or suspected to be impaired by alcohol or drugs before riding cannot join the ride. Riders using alcohol or drugs while riding will be asked to leave the ride. It is the responsibility of each Template Chapter member to support the consistent enforcement of this policy

Photography Policy: Photographing, filming, recording and videotaping of activities and events will be occurring Republic Chapter events. By entering the H.O.G.® event area, you irrevocably grant permission to the Harley-Davidson Motor Company® and its agents to photograph, film, record and/or videotape you and use (and authorize the use of) your name, image, likeness, voice, and/or biographical or other information in any and all media now known or hereinafter developed in perpetuity for any and all purposes.
